Pedagogical Solutions in e-Teacher Training – Towards Effective Technology Adoption by Teachers
Abstract
The question of how to design and implement teacher training in the use of educational technologies is a hot topic which still needs thorough research. The authors describe a case study in which teachers of English from rural areas were recruited, had their needs diagnosed and were trained in the use of technology in language teaching. Afterwards, a sample of the course participants was investigated through observations and interviews in their teaching contexts, in order to see the effect of training on subsequent technology adoption.
