Abstract
This article is a draft concerning the issue of names and naming in the novel Song of Solomon, written by Afro-American writer, Toni Morrison. The most of its attention is paid to the language, various narrative perspectives and the transgression between different traditions. These subjects are important to Morrison, what she strongly emphasized in her other novels, and also in her Nobel Prize lecture.
