Abstract
Dotarcie do rzeczywistości krajobrazu wymaga porzucenia selektywnego widzenia i myślenia wypracowanego przez nauki szczegółowe. Całościowy obraz świata proponuje sztuka i fenomenologia. Podjęte badania wykorzystują introspekcję i wynikający z niej opis własnych doświadczeń związanych z twórczością artystyczną będącą wynikiem kontemplacji krajobrazu, studium literatury i analizę rezultatów twórczości artystycznej, w tym własnej. Kontemplacja krajobrazu to warunek równowagi pomiędzy vita activa a vita contemplativa, kryterium pełniejszego jego rozumienia, będącego pod-stawą projektowania bycia w świecie. Proces kontemplacji krajobrazu odkrywa jego formy, znaczenia i wartości. Wśród form zapisu rezultatów kontemplacji wyróżnia się koncepcja St. Vincenza traktująca krajobraz jako „pismo światowe” a malarstwo jako najdoskonalszy sposób jego odczytania. Efektem przeprowadzonych prac badawczych jest opis procesu kontemplacji krajobrazu oraz opracowanie modelu identyfikacji, ujawnienia i sposobu zapisu ducha miejsca. Złożoność doświadczeń kontemplacji krajobrazu ujmuje prezentowany otwarty model graficzny, którego struktura może być rozwijana.Reaching the reality of landscape requires giving up a selective way of seeing and thinking developed by discipli-nary sciences. A holistic image of the world is offered by art and phenomenology. Conducted studies make use of introspection and, stemming from it, description of experiences connected with artistic activity which is the out-come of contemplation of landscape, study of literature and analysis of the results of artistic activity, including the very own one. Contemplation of landscape is the condition for the balance between vita activa and vita contempla-tiva; a criterion for its fuller understanding which is the basis of designing the existence in the world. The process of landscape contemplation unveils its forms, meanings and values. Among the forms of recording the results of contemplation, stands out the concept by Stanisław Vincenz treating landscape as a “world’s writing” and paint-ing as the perfect way of interpreting it. The result of the conducted research is the description of the process of landscape contemplation and creating the model of identification and how to save the spirit of the place. The complexity of experiences of landscape contemplation is formulated by the presented open graphic model whose structure may be developed further.
