Abstract
The encyclical "Caritas in Veritate" is an important voice of the Church in the contemporary world. Referring to the widely understood progress, Pope Benedict XVI one of points of his encyclical letter devoted to the role and tasks of the media. They provide for a humanisation, which is understood as a harmonious, balanced, focused human development, aimed at the achievement of full humanity. It means, that we should not only improve technical possibilities of the media, but also cause them to serve values such as dignity of the person, truth, goodness.
