Autorzy przedstawiają działalność i osiągnięcia Alberta Schweitzera w ich głównych dziedzinach — muzyki i muzykologii, filozofii i teologii oraz medycyny i szpitalnictwa. Następnie opisują kolejne szpitale Schweitzera w gabońskiej miejscowości Lambarene w stuleciu 1913-2013.The authors discuss the activities and achievements of Albert Schweitzer in their principal fields — music and musicology, philosophy and theology as well as medicine and hospital management. Further they describe the successive Schweitzer’s hospitals in the locality of Lambarene (Gabon) during the century 1913-2013.
