Degraded soils are not able to fulfill functions crucial for natural ecosystems and society as a whole. This is why, it is highly important to develop efficient reclamation and remediation treatments or improve the performance of those already in use. To restore utility or natural values to degraded soils, organic and inorganic compounds are applied successfully. In this study, popular soil modifiers and their impacts on Polish (Eutric Cambisol) and Bulgarian (Epicalcic Chernozem) soils were investigated and compared.
