Abstract
The analysis aims to provide structure and amount of costs of intermodal transport in relation Dortmund-Rome. It includes the comparison with the costs of road transport on the same route. The analysis was preceded by the classification of costs, then the internal and the external costs, as well as capital costs were calculated. For the calculations the specialized computer tools were used. Analysis ends with Author’s conclusions.
