dc.description.abstractThe problem of cults has its place in the theory of some scientific disciplines. The matter looks different in pedagogy. Representatives of this discipline sporadically deal with the topic of cults, nevertheless pedagogical literature lacks of substantiation of captivation of this problem on the ground of pedagogy – also pedagogy of resocialization. It is true that the literature written in English occasionally puts word ‘cult’ together with the term of resocialization but the way of this combination paradoxically complicates the matter. Namely some specialists interpret resocialization as a process of repeated socialization after leaving a cult; others treat it as a process of new socialization conducted by cults. This is why the author first discusses what actually is situated in the area of interest of pedagogy of resocialization.en
