Postawy młodzieży wobec samobójstwa. Badania realizowane w Polsce i we Francji
Abstract
The article compares the attitudes of Polish and French adolescents towards suicide (N = 579). The research was carried out between 2006 and 2011. The youth from both countries declare negative attitude, more than three quarters of them believe that suicide makes life difficult, arouses anxiety, and takes away their sense of security. The attitude of French youth, however, is characterized by much stronger polarisation. As for Polish young people, despite their negative attitude, one third of them believe that suicide may be a source of freedom.
