Abstract
The paper presents main assumptions and mechanisms of functioning Smart Defence Initiative. It also focuses on its limitations and problems with implementation. It gives the regional Cooperation of the Visegrád Group as an Example of Cooperation within the Framework of the Smart Defence Initiative as well.
