Definicje agroturystyki – teoretycy versus polska młodzież akademicka

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest określenie stanu wiedzy młodzieży akademickiej na temat agroturystyki oraz porównanie tej wiedzy z koncepcjami teoretycznymi naukowców. Artykuł wpisuje się w ogólnoświatową dyskusję na temat definiowania i przedefiniowania agroturystyki. Poglądy naukowców na temat definicji agroturystyki przedstawiono na podstawie krytycznej analizy literatury przedmiotu. Podstawę analizy dotyczącej definiowania agroturystyki przez studentów stanowił materiał pierwotny uzyskany z ankiet. Z analiz wynika, że istnieje znaczna rozbieżność między pojmowaniem agroturystyki przez przedstawicieli świata nauki i potencjalnych agroturystów.

The aim of this article is to define the state of knowledge of the academic youth on agritourism and to compare this knowledge with theoretical concepts of scientists. The article fits in the global discussion on defining and redefining agritourism. Scientists’ views on definition of agritourism were presented on the basis of critical analysis of subject literature. Primary material obtained from the surveys constituted the basis for analysis of the students’ definition of agritourism. The analysis show that there is a significant discrepancy between understanding agritourism by the representatives of scientific world and potential agritourists.
