Abstract

This is a review of a monograph published under the editorship of Prof. Zdzisław Krasnodębski and David Engels, entitled “Europe in the Time of the Plague. Debate and Dialogue”. The author briefly discusses the contents of the volume, pointing out key themes taken up by the authors and signaling possible developments or points of contention. He summarizes and discusses the theses of the individual texts that make up the book, enabling the viewer to familiarize themself with the fields covered by the monograph, and indicates the timeliness of the whole and the momentousness of its intentions.
