Abstract
One of the main factors which influence the effectiveness of libraries’ work are the quality of management and the manager’s choice of methods, techniques and other methods of management. Their proper use makes it possible to realize the strategic aims in a better way, and to get to know the mechanisms of functioning of one’s own library and the rules governing its surroundings. The necessity of having knowledge and of using a wide range of the management methods by the library is more often noticed and discussed in the library literature.
