dc.description.abstractThe article presents the economic conditions of oversize transport in Poland. The main goal of this article is to show a condition of oversized road transport in reference to the amendment to the Law on Road Traffic that regulates the Cargo Transportation. The existing rules governing the issuance of permits and their costs and the planned legislative changes (i.e. entities issuing permits, categories and costs) were examined. The cost simulation of permits on the basis of designated routes and a variety of traffic offense of allowable axle loads and vehicle dimensions for the overruns was performed. In addition, the analysis of other costs associated with the transport of oversize cargoes in Poland was analised. The authors put forward a number of conclusions aimed at increasing the efficiency of non-standard road transport in Poland.pl_PL
