dc.description.abstractBadania krajobrazów kulturowych stopniowo wyodrębniają się jako osobna dyscyplina naukowa. Istotne metodologiczne znaczenie w ich badaniu mają typologia i regionalizacja. W artykule omówiono założenia wyjściowe regionalizacji: przyjęto definicję (w nurcie realnego badania krajobrazów), podkreślono, że regionalizacja krajobrazów kulturowych nie jest identyczna ani z regionalizacja kultur, ani też z innymi regionalizacjami krajobrazowymi. Wyróżniono najwyższe szczeble podziału regionalnego: ekumenę i subekumenę (obszary, gdzie krajobrazu kulturowe w ogóle występują), cywilizacje (chrześcijańską, islamską, buddyjską, hinduistyczną, żydowską i afrykańską; uzasadniono przyjęcie kryterium religii) oraz subcywilizcje (np. w obrębie chrześcijańskiej zachodnią – Europa Za-chodnia i Ameryka Północna, bizantyjską, latynoamerykańską, australijską).pl
dc.description.abstractThe study of cultural regions has been gradually gaining separate identity as a scientific discipline in itself. Essen-tial methodological significance in this study is associated with regionalisation. The initial prerequisites for re-gionalisation are presented: the respective definition is adopted (in the vein of the real study of landscapes), and it is emphasised that regionalisation of cultural landscapes is not identical neither with the regionalisation of cultures, nor with other landscape regionalisations. The highest levels of the regional division have been distin-guished: the ecumene and the subecumene (the areas, where the cultural landscapes exist at all), the civilisations (Christian, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, and African – with explicit justification for the adoption of the religious criterion), and the sub-civilisations (for instance – within the realm of Christian civilisation – the Western one, encompassing Western Europe and North America, the Byzantine, the Latin American, and the Australian).en
