dc.description.abstractWprowadzenie. Współczesnej kobiecie wzrasta zakres obowiązków i nieustannie poszerza się repertuar nowych ról. Szczególnie jednak naznaczona i obarczona oddźwiękiem społecznym jest rola matki. Macierzyństwo stanowi przedmiot analiz wielu badaczy. Najczęściej pozostaje ono w obszarze zainteresowań demografów, psychologów, socjologów i pedagogów. Jest to temat uznawany za stale aktualny, popularny zarówno w dyskursie naukowym, jak i w dyskusji społecznej. Ważne jest zatem permanentne zgłębianie tej problematyki, ukazujące również nowe konteksty – w tym przypadku nawiązano do sytuacji matek w czasie pandemii COVID-19. Cel. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie społecznego postrzegania współczesnych kobiet w kontekście roli matki oraz w odniesieniu do wyborów życiowych przez nie dokonywanych. Kolejnym celem jest zaprezentowanie występujących stanowisk wobec macierzyństwa czy dyskursów jego dotyczących, a także zwrócenie uwagi na sytuację matek w Polsce spowodowaną pandemią COVID-19. Materiały i metody. W niniejszym opracowaniu, stanowiącym przegląd literatury, zastosowano także metodę badawczą desk research. Wyniki i wnioski. Z przedstawionych analiz wyłaniają się różne kategorie współczesnych kobiet, w tym matek, i różnorodność ich postrzegania w kontekście tej roli. Aby można było przygotować rozwiązania (w obszarze polityki społecznej), które wspierałyby je wszystkie (niezależnie od ich preferencji), ważna jest znajomość poszczególnych grup kobiet. Nie chodzi o nakłanianie każdej do macierzyństwa, ale o stworzenie warunków do jego podejmowania i pełnienia tym osobom, które dzieci rzeczywiście chcą, oraz wspomaganie ich w łączeniu i godzeniu ról. W wyniku pojawienia się pandemii COVID-19 jest to tym bardziej potrzebne, ponieważ jej wybuch wzmocnił tradycyjny podział obowiązków i zjawisko retradycjonalizacji, które kobietom nie sprzyja.pl
dc.description.abstractIntroduction. The responsibilities of a contemporary woman are increasing, and the repertoire of new roles is constantly expanding. However, the role of the mother is particularly marked, and burdened with a „social response”. Motherhood is the subject of analysis by many researchers. Most often it remains in the area of interest of demographers, psychologists, sociologists, and pedagogists. This topic is considered to be constantly relevant, popular both in the scientific discourse and in social discussion. Therefore, it is important to constantly explore this issue; they also reveal new contexts – in this case, the situation of mothers during the Covid-19 pandemic was referred to. Aim. The aim of the article is to present the social perception of contemporary women in the context of the mother role, the category of women in relation to their life choices and to present positions, or discourses regarding motherhood, as well as to draw attention to the situations of mothers (in Poland) caused by the Covid pandemic-19. Materials and methods. This publication is a literature review. The desk research method was also used. Results and conclusions. The presented analyses reveal various categories of contemporary women, including mothers and the diversity of their perception in the context of this role. In order to be able to prepare solutions (in the field of social policy) supporting them all (regardless of their preferences), it is important to know particular groups of women. It is not about persuading everyone to motherhood, but about helping to combine and reconcile the roles of those who really want children. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, this is all the more necessary, as its outbreak has reinforced traditional division of responsibilities and the phenomenon of retrationalization, which is not favorable to women.en
