Abstract

The topic of the impact the local self-government has on the positive image of the university is the main issue in the article. The example which is covered in the text is the cooperation of one of the wealthiest and fastest growing local self-governments in Poland and Lower Silesian University of Entrepreneurship and Technology in Polkowice, set up by that government in 2002. The text cites the most important, according to the author, the local self-government activities that support and create strong image of university in Polkowice.
