Abstract
Protecting the environment as a global problem. Summary. The goals of sustainable development and the associated legal measures for their implementation, set once again at international level, have led to reflections on global threats to the environment underlined in motive 14 of the Transformation Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Global Action, adopted during the UN Summit in New York, on September 25th, 2015. The purpose of this article is to analyze the need for further advanced global action for environmental protection. The reason to concern this topic is the need to continue the research carried out over many years by representatives of various scientific disciplines in this field and to conduct analyzes and legal assessments of the progressive process of globalization in relation to the environment.
