Abstract
Road safety education for young and older children in selected EU countries. This paper reviews the issue of provision of road safety education to young and older children in selected European Union countries. It contains a comparative analysis of road safety education programs implemented in Poland, Austria, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Spain, Latvia, Germany, Sweden, Italy and the United Kingdom. A brief description of education management systems in individual countries and an overview of the principles of implementing school programs are also to be found in this paper.
