Problematyka zarządzania zmianami w bibliotekach akademickich na początku XXI w.

Abstract

The process of changes management in libraries of higher educational institutions was reviewed based on international experience. This process is necessary for competitiveness of libraries for educational and information service. The main trends of changes management were outlined: providing quality service, orientation to user, the search for a new contingent of users, education and formation of the active user, advertising of library and its service, library staff flexibility to possible changes, using of modern technology, the introduction of new management methods.
