Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of insurance education in the Russian Federation. In particular, it covers issues related to the content, competencies, levels of insurance education, and the interaction between the science and practice. Particular attention is given to the questions of the compliance of educational programmes to the professional standards that are being accepted in Russia.
