dc.description.abstractCivil aviation has repeatedly been the target of terrorist attacks, and many attempts have been based on the use of liquid explosives. As a result, security services have intensified their efforts to identify and neutralise terrorist threats, with one of the manifestations of this being strict security procedures in air transport. These include restrictions on the quantity of liquids carried and the volume of their packaging. However, many countries have already announced the lifting of these restrictions, and their validity was also questioned in Poland several years ago. The findings presented in this study are intended to answer the question: to what extent are the restrictions on liquids carried on board aircraft introduced at airports justified by the real threat of a bomb attack that could be launched with these liquids?en
dc.description.abstractLotnictwo cywilne wielokrotnie stawało się celem ataków terrorystycznych, a wiele prób ich dokonania opierało się na wykorzystaniu płynnych materiałów wybuchowych. W konsekwencji, intensyfikowano wysiłki służb bezpieczeństwa, mające na celu identyfikację i neutralizację zagrożeń terrorystycznych, a jednym z ich przejawów są surowe procedury bezpieczeństwa w transporcie lotniczym. Dotyczą one między innymi nałożonych ograniczeń, w tym limitów ilości przewożonych płynów i objętości ich opakowań. Wiele krajów zapowiedziało już jednak zniesienie tych ograniczeń, ich zasadność kwestionowana była również w Polsce, i to już kilka lat temu. Przedstawione w niniejszym opracowaniu ustalenia odpowiedzieć mają na pytanie: w jakim stopniu wprowadzone na lotniskach ograniczenia dotyczące płynów przewożonych na pokładach samolotów są uzasadnione rzeczywistym zagrożeniem atakiem bombowym, jaki można przeprowadzić przy ich wykorzystaniu?pl
