Fair play między moralnością a prawem na przykładzie religii i sportu

Abstract
Sport, deeply rooted in our culture, creates particular space for promotion of its values and ideals and become means of influence on society and thus as an universal good transcends the world of sport itself. One of those values is the Fair play rule which is understood as a pure game or an attitude of respect for one’s opponent, as well as allegiance to the rules and principles, and a strive for victory but not at all cost. It’s a postulate to not to be lost in the blind pursuit for success but in a battle for a victory to give priority to human person and his dignity as it cannot be ignored nor instrumentalised. In the history of development of societies are well known domains that imposed, promoted and effectively enforced particular moral patterns. One of those domains is religion that seems to have the Fair play rule as the key of moral doctrine interpretation. The purpose of this article is to present rules of fair play as a universal category that comprehensively summarizes the essence of both religion and sport, and consequently also others areas, especially in the context of their moral message, and thus showing their complementarity and indispensability for the social life
