Abstract
The author presents the project, which would be an attempt to show the differences in the understanding of the law by the Roma and the dominant community in their country of residence. The aim would be to identify a formal relationship to the law and own group. The author describes the elements of the identity of the Roma. It also indicates a possible approach to the use of theoretical and empirical research suggests this.
