Abstract
Nowadays, the automotive industry is one of the fastest developing sectors. Constantly increasing demand for cars, replacement parts and subassemblies drives the growth of automotive companies. With such a dynamic market and strong competition, it is customers and their expectations which become the priority for enterprises. A key factor in customer satisfaction is the use of the idea of continuous improvement in all areas of enterprise in order to meet the requirements of the close and further business surroundings. This can be achieved by implementation of integrated management systems. Therefore, this study aimed to present the standardized assumptions for the system of quality management system and safety management, focused especially on demonstration of the specific approach to using them in the automotive sector.
