Abstract
The aim of the paper is to describe one of the most important elements of a literature about Upper Silesia after 1989 - motion into depths of memory and history, exploration of the past and creating new narratives of (and for) this region. The autor concentrates mostly on Polish and Czech literature; she attempts to present that Upper Silesia is regaining its own voice and telling a new story.
