Retoryka w szkole wobec edukacji klasycznej

Abstract

Autor artykułu usiłuje zdefiniować edukację klasyczną z perspektywy historycznej i współczesnej oraz zaproponować formę obecności retoryki klasycznej w dzisiejszej szkole. Miejsca retoryki nie dostrzega on w tym, aby stała się ona kolejnym przedmiotem konsumującym czas uczniów i nauczycieli. Chodzi raczej o to, by polska szkoła stopniowo wznosiła się na wyższy poziom kultury żywego słowa.

The author of the paper tries to define classical education from a historical and contemporary perspective and propose a form of the presence of classical rhetoric in today’s schools. He does not see the place of rhetoric in making it another subject that consumes students’ and teachers’ time. Rather, the point is for the Polish school to gradually rise to a higher level of the culture of the living word.
