Foreigners' Integration Centres as a Tool for Local Integration Policy in Poland

Abstract
Foreigners' Integration Centres (Pol. – Centra Integracji Cudzoziemców) have become a controversial topic for some Polish politicians. In this CMR Spotlight, Aniela Bankowicz, Mikołaj Pawlak and Karolina Łukasiewicz offer a factual sum-up of the origins of this idea, and the Centres’ functioning in several Polish regions since their establishment in 2021. They ponder what value added the Centres offer, especially compared to NGO activities, and how their functioning could be improved.
