Solidaryzm niepartykularny a patriotyzm
Abstract
Using Kornel Morawieck’s ideas, this paper looks at a patriotism that transcends nationalism. This patriotism is based on solidarism, here a non-particularist version, and comes from Christianity. It is still developing in the social teaching of the Church. In Polish culture and social practice, apart from romantic patriotic attitude there is also its positivistic form (common in Greater Polish society in the 19th century). The non-particularistic solidarism meets the con ditions of preventive and creative solidarity. It does not exclude its interventional and creative variant founding a romantic face. In the face of contemporary threats of cultural uniformity and uprooting from tradition, arguments are made in favor of the revival of the Solidarity thought developed both in Christianity, as well as in the ideas of “Fighting Solidarity”
