dc.description.abstract	The paper presents application of algebraic geometry in cryptography. In the first part we go from basic issues, among other things, such as elliptic curves, then get to know the various cryptographic systems based on elliptic curves. At the end we show some examples of applications of these methods to protect the information used in the modern world.	en
