Abstract
Głównym celem artykułu jest ukazanie związku przynależności lokalnej mieszkańców powiatu chojnickiego i jej uwarunkowań związanych z jakością życia oraz oceną instytucji bezpieczeństwa. Problemem badawczym jest pytanie: Jak poczucie przynależności lokalnej decyduje o ocenie jakości życia i instytucji w powiecie chojnickim? Niniejszy tekst jest jednocześnie głosem w dyskusji na temat zmieniającej się roli i znaczenia identyfikacji lokalnej. W badaniu skoncentrowano się na instytucjach bezpieczeństwa, które mają związek z jakością życia mieszkańców w obszarze bezpieczeństwa i porządku publicznego, powszechnego, zdrowia i socjalnego. Badaniem objęto powiat chojnicki z uwagi na realizację zadania publicznego. W wyniku badań stwierdzono, że poczucie przynależności do społeczności lokalnej mieszkańców powiatu chojnickiego: determinuje ocenę lokalnej policji; przyczynia się w stopniu umiarkowanym do oceny służby zdrowia jako instytucji odpowiedzialnej za jakość życia w powiecie chojnickim; ranguje straż pożarną jako instytucję najwyżej ocenianą przez mieszkańców, a poziom poczucia bezpieczeństwa mieszkańców prezentuje wartości umiarkowane i nie zależy od płci badanych osób. Wyniki wskazują na silny związek poczucia przynależności z oceną instytucji odpowiedzialnych za jakość życia mieszkańców powiatu. Stopień identyfikacji lokalnej łączy się z postrzeganiem instytucji odpowiedzialnych za poziom jakości życia w różnych obszarach bezpieczeństwa.The main purpose of the article is to show the relationship between the local affiliation of the inhabitants of the Chojnice district and its determinants related to the quality of life and the assessment of security institutions. The problem is the formulated question: How does the sense of local affiliation affect the assessment of institutions with the quality of life in the Chojnice district? This text is also a voice in the discussion on the changing role and importance of local identification. The study focused on security institutions that are related to the quality of life of residents in the area of security and public order, general health and social security. The study covered the Chojnice district due to the implementation of a public task. As a result of the research, it was found that the sense of belonging to the local community of the inhabitants of the Chojnice district: determines the assessment of the local police; contributes moderate to the assessment of the health service as an institution responsible for the quality of life in the Chojnice district; ranks the fire brigade as the highest rated institution by residents, and the level of residents’ sense of security is moderate and does not depend on the sex of the respondents. The results indicate a strong relationship between the sense of belonging and the assessment of institutions responsible for the quality of life of the inhabitants of the district. The degree of local identification is related to the perception of institutions responsible for the quality of life in various security areas.
