dc.description.abstractCel. Celem artykułu jest syntetyzujące omówienie najważniejszych przemian społecznych w warunkach nowoczesności w XIX i na początku XX w., szczególnie istotnych dla przeobrażeń życia rodzinnego, sytuacji dzieci i młodzieży, edukacji. Metoda. Zastosowano metody badań historyczno-pedagogicznych, w tym metodę filologiczną, służąca analizie źródeł historycznych i historiograficznych. Wyniki. W wyniku analizy określono rolę oświaty w kontekście modernizacji społecznej. Ustalono, jak dokonywano konceptualizacji dzieciństwa, adolescencji oraz „rodziny idealnej”. Przedstawiono zmiany w podejściu do młodego pokolenia w wyniku „sakralizacji” dzieciństwa oraz transnarodowej scjentyzacji dzieciństwa. Wykazano, że wpłynęło to na ewolucję pozycji dzieci w rodzinie w warstwach średnich w drugiej połowie XIX i na początku XX w.pl
dc.description.abstractAim. The aim of the article is to present in an aggregate way, the most important, especially significant for transformation of family life, youths and children’s educational situation, in the social transition in conditions of the modernity in the 19th and in the beginning of the 20th centuries. Methods. The methods of the historical-pedagogical research applied to analysis of the historical and historiographical sources were used. Results. The result of the analysis shows the function of the education in context of social modernisation. Questions are set regarding the defi nition of the conceptualisation of childhood, adolescence, and “the perfect family.” The changes in approach to the young generation resultant from the “sacralisation” of the childhood and the childhood’s transnational scientisation are presented. The article demonstrate how it infl uenced the evolution of the children’s situation in the middle-class family in the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.en
