Abstract
Article aimed to present social problems from the point of view of Polish law including changes over the years and its confrontation with the position of the Church. Abortion, euthanasia, sui-cide, in vitro fertilisation, the death penalty is not only controversial topics, but unregulated in Polish law. The article also presents studies and statistics taken from available sources, showing the overall attitude of society to these issues. The article is divided into five parts, and four of them relate to the topics mentioned above, while the latter is a summary of the whole.
