Abstract
GoSmart BSR tests the TIBS system GoSmart BSR - Strengthening smart specialization by fostering transnational cooperation is a project implemented under the Interreg Baltic Sea Region program. The article indicates the effects of activities undertaken in the project and presents a policy paper "Methodology for Transnational Smart Specialization Strategy", which is a summary of the completed research phase. Methodology is a useful policy tool for internationalization and innovation at the transnational level. The tools developed in it will be used to create establishing and developing a functional and sustainable Transnational Innovation Brokerage System (TIBS). The TIBS system uses tools developed by the GoSmart team to support small and medium enterprises in the internationalization process.
