Abstract
Vocational education systems in Poland and selected EU member states. The article provides an overview of the systems of vocational education in Poland and selected EU member states. It begins by presenting basic definitions and concepts within the subject area. In the next sections the author looks at the organizational structure and selected issues concerning the system of vocational education within the school systems in: Poland, Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom
