dc.description.abstractIn the last decade, there may be noticed a renewed reference to history, tradition, symbolism and memory of Zagłębie in building both present ties with a community and beyond-local promotion. These issues are worth looking at in terms of the presence of Poland in the structures of the European Union with special consideration of cultural projects. Currently, culture is one of the priorities for the Community. The author of the following study, assuming that culture should be perceived not only in the context of economic relations but also of the social content, focused on the programme elements, concerning the region's culture, which have been undertaken in the last decade.pl_PL
