Abstract
The author of the article addresses the issue concerning young married couples in order to inform about the phenomena which result from the materialistic way of thinking and from laicization. The confusion of contemporary times influences the lives of married couples and families. It results in the break-ups of marriages, in weakening of the social control, in rejecting the existing principles and rights by individuals. It also causes social disintegration and the collapse of personal models as well as the change in the ways of understanding moral expectations. The phenomena of disorganization increase in a special way in huge communities where anonymity fosters deviations and where social control has been weakened. Therefore, it is important to show young married couples the proper meaning of the sacramental nature of marriage and of the obligations which result from it. Pastoral care of the family has to fulfil this important mission. It should offer the proposals of meetings for young married couples, in which they will be able to share their problems and experience mutual support. Young married couples should join religious movements in which the community of faith and love is fully implemented through proclaiming the Word of God, through ministering liturgy and through the testimony of the Christian life.
